To date the greatest figure skater produced in Greater Sudbury, Meagan began skating at age 3 in her hometown of Lively and developed her skills at the Walden Figure Skating Club. She moved to the Mariposa Skating School in Barrie and then onto Montreal to further her career. She competed in singles and pairs skating at the national level before settling on pairs solely by 2007. She enjoyed success skating with partners Ryan Arnold, Craig Buntin and Eric Radford.

- Two-time World Champion (2015, 2016) and two-time world bronze medallist with Eric Radford and two, top eight ISU championships finishes with Craig Buntin
- Seven-time Canadian Pairs Champions with Eric Radford
- Meagan and Ryan were the first pair to land side-by-side triple Lutz jumps in competition and the first to land the throw triple Lutz internationally.
- Meagan and Eric became the first pairs team to successfully landed the throw quadruple salchow in the Olympics (2018 PyeongChang).
- Meagan won the final episode of CBC’s Battle of the Blades in 2020, partnered with Wojtek Wolski.
Miscellaneous: Meagan and her husband Bruno Marcotte are parents to Zoey and Miya. Meagan is currently an international pairs specialist coach and a national/provincial coach at Skate Oakville.
